SURVEY AND LAND RECORDS

Departmental Activities:     

  • Survey & Land Records Department is a District Maintenance Unit in each District. Duly monitoring different survey works in the district.
  • Regular administration in Tahsildars offices in the Mandals the Mndal Surveyors will attend the Land related works i e., House sites Survey, Demarcation of “F” -line boundaries, Patta sub-divisions, Land Acquisition, Alienation, Assignment, LCC, Encroachment survey in Govt. lands. The above Survey works will be attended by the Village Surveyors in Village level. The prestigious flagship programme  e. Re-survey of Agriculture and Habitations in the entire state has been commenced in the year of 2020.
  • In Divisional level the Divisional Deputy Inspector of survey will monitor the above Survey related works from divisional level and he will assists to the Sub-Collector / Revenue Divisional Officers in Land related issues.
  • In District level the Assistant Director will monitor the above Survey works among the district with the help of two Inspectors of Survey and he will assists to the District Administration in Land related issues. The Assistant Director will also monitoring the regular administration in Service matters to the Department personnel.

  • In the year of 2020 the Honourable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Government have taken up RE-SURVEY as one of the Government flagship programs under Suparipalana in entire 13 Districts of  Andhra Pradesh state of all agricultural lands and habitations under   Jagannanna Shaswata Bhu Hakku mariyu Bhu Raksha Pathakam. Government have accorded administrative approval to take up resurvey project in the entire state jutilizing the hybrid method by using drones and the Continues operating reference stations (CORS) in collaboration with Survey of India.
  • So far the 13 Notification issued in respect of 15 villages in East Godavari District, in view of completion of Re-survey operations.

The Government have taken up RE-SURVEY as one of the Government flagship programs under Suparipalana in entire Andhra Pradesh state vide G. O. Ms. No. 352 Revenue (Lands-4) Department dated 17.11.2020.
