Specific GOs / Court orders / Acts/Policies and others, if any, pertaining to department:

  • The Govt. vide G.O.Ms.No.71, Industries, Infrastructure, Investment & Commerce (Mines-II) Department, dt. 04-09-2019 issued guidelines for New Sand Policy.
  • The Govt. vide G.O.Ms.No.25, Industries & Commerce (Mines-III) Department, dt.16.04.2021 issued further guidelines for New Sand Policy.
  • The Govt. vide G.O.Ms.No.13, Industries & Commerce (Mines-III) Department, dt.14.03.2021 made amendments to Rules 4, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, 28, 31 & 33 of the APMMC Rules, 1966 regarding the areas where the applicants have not shown interest to obtain quarry lease by remitting the premium amount, may be disposed through auction for grant of quarry lease in the interest of mineral conservation and the judicious use of mineral resources for generation of employment and contribution to State GDP.
  • The Govt. vide G.O.Ms.No.14, Industries & Commerce (Mines-III) Department, dt.14.03.2021 has made new Rules i.e., Andhra Pradesh Minor Mineral Auction Rules, 2022 for regulating the grant of mining leases in respect of minor minerals the State of Andhra Pradesh.
