Departmental Activities :

• Scrutiny & Sanction of estimates pertaining to Peddapuram, Pithapuram, Samalkota, Tuni Municipalities and Gollaprolu, Yeleswaram Nagar Panchayats. Monitoring the execution of works in the above Municipalities, Monitoring the water supply situation in the above municipalities. Execution of works sanctioned by the Government in the above Municipalities allotted to this department.

Gollaprolu Nagar Panchayath :

COMPREHENSIVE WATER SUPPLY IMPROVEMENT SCHEME UNDER AIIB funds:

Gollaprolu Nagar Panchayath is a newly formed Nagar Panchayat and at present the water supply is being supplying through the bore wells as well as the canal (Yeleru) water supply scheme constructed by RWS department which is inadequate to the present requirement of Gollaprolu Nagar Panchayat as per the Urban water supply standards.

In view of the water supply requirements, a Comprehensive Water supply Improvement Scheme for Gollaprolu has been sanctioned for Rs.82.03 crore under EAP (AIIB) programme consisting of two packages

• Head water Works and Gravity Mains
• Distribution Network.
• Package-1: Est Cost : Rs.64.29 crores

 Consisting of the following major components:

• Providing 700/600/400mm DI gravity main for a length of 38KM from Yeleswaram (WTP) to Gollaprolu Nagar Panchayath (ELSRs) i.e., from WTP to ELSRs.
• Construction of 500 KL ELSR at Mogali Suridu Tank.
• Construction of 700 KL ELSR at karnagamgari thota.
• Construction of 800 KL ELSR at SC peta.
• Connecting pipelines of dia meters 300mm to 150mm from WTP to various ELSRs.

The work is entrusted to M/S Sudhakara Infratech Private Ltd with JV Gaja Engineering Private Ltd, Hyderabad vide SE (PH) Agt No.34/2021-2022, Dt. 18.08.2021. Detailed Investigation and survey completed. Submission of Designs is in progress.

• Package -2 : Est Cost : Rs. 17.74 crores

Providing the following HDPE distribution pipelines including meters, SCADA arrangements, House service connections.

• 110mm dia : 13.62 Km
• 160mm dia : 12.04 Km
• 200mm dia : 9.28 Km
• 250mm dia : 31.70 Km
• 280mm dia : 14.79 Km
• 315mm dia : 4.50 Km

Total             : 40.05 Km

This work has been entrusted to M/S Gaja Engineering Private Ltd vide SE(PH) Agt No/ 25/2018-2019, Dt. 20.02.2019. The work is under progress. Quantity of Pipes Supplied 5.50 Km & laid for a length of 3.60 Km.

• Yeleswaram Nagar Panchayath:

COMPREHENSIVE WATER SUPPLY IMPROVEMENT SCHEME UNDER AIIB funds:

Yeleswaram Nagar Panchayath is a newly formed Nagar Panchayat and at present the water supply is being supplying through bore wells and canal (Yeleru) water supply scheme constructed by RWS department which is inadequate to the public of Yeleswaram Nagar Panchayat to the Urban water supply standards.

In view of the water supply requirements, a Comprehensive Water supply Improvement Scheme for Yeleswaram has been sanctioned for Rs.56.78 crore under EAP (AIIB) programme consisting of two packages

• Head water Works and Gravity Mains
• Distribution Network.
• Package-1: Est Cost: Rs 27.71 crores

Consisting of the following major components:

1) Construction of Intake well cum pump house in Yeleru reservoir.

2) Construction of 18 MLD Water Treatment Plant at Yeleswaram.

3) Construction of 800 KL & 850 KL ELSRs at Government Degree College.

4) Connecting pipe lines 300mm to 150mm from WTP to various ELSRs.

This work is entrusted to M/S Sudhakara Infratech Private Ltd & Gaja Engineering Private Ltd, Hyderabad vide SE(PH) Agt No. 34/2021-2022, Dt. 18.08.2021. Detailed Investigation and survey completed. Submission of Designs is in progress.

• 400mm dia : 1.08 Km
• 300mm dia DI K7 : 0.45 Km
• 350mm dia DI K7 : 0.63 Km

Total             : 43.89 Km

This work has been entrusted to M/S Gaja Engineering Private Ltd vide SE(PH) Agt No/ 25/2018-2019, Dt. 20.02.2019. The work is under progress. Quantity of Pipes Supplied & laid for a length of 7.50 Km.

Providing temporary water supply facilities to Jaganna Housing Colonies under N.P.I.  Of the following ULBs for construction purpose.
